About Us The History

Soar Physio took over from CAPE Physio Te Awamutu in April 2014. The name “SOAR” was decided after months of searching and thinking about what we wanted for our patients.

We wanted them to train, play and live. We wanted them to ‘SOAR’. This may be walking again, driving again, getting back on the court or beating a personal best. Whatever your goal is we are here to help!

In March 2019, Paul decided to take a break from physiotherapy, resigned and handed the reigns and ownership over to Gayleen. Although not a physio herself, Gayleen has a management knowledge and been in the health industry for the past 24 years.

Gayleen realised that the success of a business is in clear communication and to work in a happy environment, where the team and the clients that support it, feel valued and appreciated.
